Every question type checked by a teacher
Questions are generated fresh from templates, so they're always new. Every question type was reviewed and approved by a qualified UK maths teacher before going live, and every set is checked automatically before it's sent.
Built around your child's gaps
Topics they get wrong come back after 2, 7 and 21 days until they stick. Each daily set mixes current topics, reviews and their weakest areas. Difficulty adjusts as they improve, or you can set it yourself.
On screen or on paper
Your child opens the set from a link in an email (no password to remember) and gets marked instantly. You can also print each set, with a separate answer key and worked solutions for you.
What it is, and what it isn't
It is regular, short practice for Year 9–11 students taking Pearson Edexcel GCSE Maths (1MA1), at Foundation or Higher tier: daily sets, an optional weekly topic assignment, and an optional monthly mini mock.
It isn't a tutor or a replacement for school. It doesn't predict grades, and its questions are not past papers. During the pilot we cover most of the 1MA1 content; a few question styles (long proofs, for example) are self-marked against a model answer.
The pilot
We're opening Maths Heron to 100 families for free, by invite. We'll ask for your feedback now and then. You're the account holder: we only ask for your child's first name or a nickname, their year group and their tier. No school, no surname, no date of birth.
